About the event
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), developed by Steven C. Hayes, is an evidence-based behavioral therapy that promotes psychological flexibility: remaining present, open, and guided by values despite distress. ACT helps clients relate differently to difficult thoughts and emotions while acting in line with their values.
This 1-hour introductory live webinar will provide clinicians with a practical overview of ACT’s theoretical foundations and its six core processes with an emphasis on psychological flexibility. We will focus on how to conceptualize common clinical presentations through an ACT lens and integrate experiential and behavioral interventions into your therapy sessions.

Identify and explain the six core processes of ACT
Describe the central role of psychological flexibility in the ACT model
